GuideICML

ICML 2026 formatting · 8-page body and OpenReview

ICML auto-rejects bodies over 8 pages, and there is no separate supplement deadline—appendices live in the same PDF.

Length and files

Submission body ≤ 8 pages; references, impact statement, and appendices unlimited in the same PDF.

Camera-ready body is 9 pages. File caps often 50MB submit / 20MB camera-ready.

Process notes

Official LaTeX only—margin hacks are rejected. Submit on OpenReview; activate accounts early with an institutional email.

Main-track papers typically need an Impact Statement before the references (outside the page cap).

FAQ

Can I dual-submit with NeurIPS?
No parallel archival submissions of substantially similar work. Dual submission can reject you at any time.
